Eastside Christian Fellowship Men’s Weekend 10/30/2021
At 77 years of age, having re-discovered God and Jesus in the last 20 years, I have gained confidence and assuredness that I am in great hands with the Triune God. It's been a journey and I have learned more each day fellowshipping with other believers, being in the Word and praying. The Summit Initiative information has helped me in categorizing my life's story. God's purpose in my life is to help others, in whatever way that the Triune God directs me. I felt that Summit helped not only in my relationships with other men, but by listening to the facilitators’ story, I will be using what I gained this weekend with my wife of 18 years (3 other divorces have shaped me in accordance with God's Word).

I got a refresh that God is full of mercy and patience despite how much I've beat myself up. I also learned how my past has influenced my present life.

I think this was a great reminder that every aspect of my life and story has been under the care of God. It is such a profound concept that He is passionately watching over me all the time. This weekend reminded me that I am truly surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses, not just in the heavenly realm; but right here as well.

Phenomenal. Discipleship in real time action. It felt like an active therapy session that caused me a lot of anxiety, reflection and hope.
