Reach Church Men’s Weekend  11/9/2025

God is in control. I need more deep guy friendships. I need to learn how to let others/God serve me.
___
God is working through me. I need to be present with Him to experience/fulfill His purpose in my life.
___
God loves me. I am His. He's got this. Allows me to have a greater faith.
___
I always knew it, but it's always encouraging to see and hear and feel that we are not alone in our struggles. The more the weekend went on, the more I was able to open up in casual conversations about big/small things going on. Also, sometimes it can feel easier to share with someone you don't know that well, but after the ice is broken. This is a perfect example of that. Thank you, team. This has been great.
___
I am enough. Other men are struggling with me. It is okay not to be okay.
___
I learned that I am very self-centered in a lot of ways. I am more motivated for discipleship and see the importance of a brotherhood and belonging with a group of men. I learned how the Father wants us to have joy and be content in life.
___
What a group! What a leadership team! Thank you for an amazing experience with similarly flawed and beautiful men.
___
Quick to listen, slow to speak.
___
I learned many ways that God can show up in brokenness, and use stories of people’s lives to show His power.
___
Sharing our stories helped me truly realize how much we all have shared experiences and feelings with life. Men sharing with men is fantastic!
___
Think positive not negative. Believe. You belong. You can trust in brothers in confidence that it doesn’t go any further. Listen, don't be quick to answer.
___
It was crucial that the two who shared their stories without oversimplifying the messiness of God's grace. It's okay to not be okay. Because that was a backdrop and example to follow, I was able to share details of my story I had never shared with anyone before.
