Because of this training, we in Liberia are rising—with boldness, strategy, and the Spirit's power—to impact all 15 counties through story telling evangelism. Liberia faced fifteen years of deadly civil war leaving at least 250,000 dead. The war didn’t just kill, break Liberia’s infrastructure—it wounded her soul. The effects are still seen today:
1) Youth wander without direction—many born in war, raised in trauma, and trapped in cycles of poverty, addiction, or hopelessness.
2) Women carry deep pain—many were victims of violence, now left to raise children alone in broken communities.
3) Children are growing up without proper education, without safety, and without a sense of identity or value.
4) The economy is weak. Inflation is high.
5) Roads are broken. Travel is hard.
6) Agriculture is declining, and food insecurity is rising.
Our nation survived the war, but the healing has not yet come. The wounds remain—in hearts, in homes, and in our land.
What Do We Believe Will Happen?
As the Liberia Team of the Summit Initiative, we want to step out by faith, believing that as we go county by county, God will bring deep transformation through the Gospel message of:
1. Identity in Christ – Youth and children will discover who they are in God—not what war or poverty says, but who Christ says they are: loved, chosen, and made for more.
2. Healing from the Past – Women and men across Liberia will receive inner healing as stories are shared, prayers are lifted, and Jesus brings restoration to broken hearts.
3. Purpose for the Future – Communities will begin to rise again as people catch God’s vision for their lives. Hope will be reborn. Dreams will be revived. The next generation will walk with purpose.
What Will It Take?
1. Prayer
2. Monthly financial support
3. Transportation to every county
4. Training materials and workshops
5. Committed teams with God’s heart
Our Vision Is Clear
By God’s grace, we -will go.
-We will speak hope.
-We will call forth healing.
-We will restore identity.
-We will stir purpose.
And Liberia will rise again—not just rebuilt, but reborn in Christ.
