Cross the Divide Summit Outdoors Workshop 5/20/2022
This was a great event… the trainer was a very personable and easy to listen to guy who shared his own life well and encouraged us to do the same.

Before the event my story tended to start just before finding a personal relationship with God and the period immediately following. Through the program, I connected with the root of the brokenness in my life and through prayer and reflection was able to better understand and put some context into the places where I still struggle 30 years later. Additionally, I was able to connect with the other participant’s stories and see many similarities which was encouraging in that some of my failures and struggles were no longer unique to just me. I did develop more confidence in sharing the more personal parts of my story and I believe God will be able to use that vulnerability more effectively to show His strength. I have already found times to share this vulnerability with family, friends, and a few colleagues which has strengthened relationship and made God and His plan much more real for both me and those who I connect with.
